Caldas da Rainha
In Caldas da Rainha you can find a set of three Fountains, inserted into the reform of the water supply network promoted by King D. João V, himself a user of Caldas waters.
Rest of sequence was in this passage of John V by Caldas da Rainha which also led to the reform of the Thermal Hospital and made even part the construction of an aqueduct, of which few traces remain, located at the gates of D. Leonor Wood.
The Fountains, which do justice to the importance that water has assumed as part of the Baroque period, are three locations, so you have to know even those who take a city tour, which we recommend.
The New Street Fountain is in Largo Manuel I, right next to the Thermal Hospital.
Are since 1982 classified as public interest buildings which maintain its importance and together make up a total of seven spouts, a mythological allusion to the seven daughters of Atlas and Pleione Oceanide (the Océanides were female deities personified by fountains, streams, waterways, descended from Ocean).
The waters of Caldas da Rainha are mythical!
You just have to choose where to start.
