Caldas da Rainha
Machado is one of the oldest pastry cafes in the city.
Located in Rua Camões it has the amazing particularity that the facade of its building is decorated with tiles designed by the son of the great master Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro – Manuel Gustavo Bordallo Pinheiro.
On the Opposite side, the always majestic D. Carlos I Park, allows quite a view.
The Machado pastry house became known for its diverse and traditional pastries, earning their clients, visitors and tourists through these delicacies. And who still pass through there every day.
This is a place to visit when passing through the city, not only for its pastry quality(own production) but also for its space.
